Whether you’re a digital nomad, full-time traveler, or remote business owner, the question remains the same: how do you handle your mail?

With an on the go lifestyle you may easily fall behind on your physical mail with the traditional handling of snail mail. If you’re looking to upgrade your mailing solution into something convenient, versatile, and flexible that’s where the virtual mailbox comes in.

A virtual mailbox offers a permanent address in the US so you can travel and work remotely without worrying about accessing your physical mail. It’s an online mailbox that will give you 24/7 access, instant email notifications, and the ability to view and manage mail securely with the click of a button.

In this blog, we will introduce the concept of a virtual mailbox and answer your questions on the following:

What is a virtual mailbox?

How does a virtual mailbox work?

Who can benefit from a virtual mailbox?

How do I pick a virtual mailbox that works best for my needs?

What is a Virtual Mailbox?

A virtual mailbox is a type of service that allows you to read your postal mail online via any device with an internet connection and from anywhere in the world.

With a virtual mailbox, your physical mail is available to you in an online account, similar to email. In addition, a virtual mailbox offers a variety of other mail services including:

Real-time mail notifications.

Online viewing of mail.

Mail opening and scanning.

Mail forwarding.

Package forwarding.

Mail shredding, mail disposal, or mail recycling.

Package storage and shipping.

Check depositing.

Some select services will offer registered agent services at limited locations. Psst...VPM offers FREE registered agent services at all our locations.

How Does a Virtual Mailbox Work?

First, take a look at all the types of mail services available, then choose the mail package that serves your business and personal needs the best. Continue with the following steps to get a virtual mailbox:

Complete the USPS 1583 form - you will find detailed directions and resources to complete this form here.

Change of Address With USPS - a change of address is a request to have USPS forward your mail to a new destination address. This can either be temporary or permanent, and it can be done online or in person. You can learn how to file a change of address with USPS here.

Have your mail and packages sent to the new virtual mailbox address as soon as the mail arrives. It will be scanned and uploaded to your virtual mailbox account.

Log in to your new virtual mailbox account and decide on options for mail scanning, mail forwarding, deleting, shredding, or storing.

Who Uses a Virtual Mailbox and Why?

Typically when you move to a new place you will need to fill out a mail forwarding form with the post office and they make sure your mail gets to your new permanent address.

However, the challenge that full-time travelers, digital nomads, and anyone else embracing a location-independent lifestyle faces is that they don’t have an address because they typically don’t stay in one location for more than a month at a time. A virtual mailbox solves the “permanent address” issue.

The reason a permanent address is still necessary even if you work and travel remotely is many institutions still require a physical address for communication purposes such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), and voter registration. In the private sector, some law offices, some financial institutions and banks, and even employers providing end of year tax documents often use snail mail by default. You also need an address for things such as credit cards and packages.

A virtual mailbox is also used for multiple purposes outside of a permanent address. We've listed the other reasons small businesses, digital nomads, travelers, and expats find a virtual mailbox is valuable.

1. Startups and Small Businesses

A virtual mailbox provides a streamlined digital document solution and saves time so you can focus on billable activities and what really matters in your business.

It is the smartest and easiest way for you to manage your mail and packages, and it comes with additional long-term advantages for your business. Startups and small businesses will enjoy the following benefits.

A Permanent Address Linked to a Commercial Office

Linking your business address to a commercial office will create and maintain a professional image and makes you look more trustworthy to customers. A permanent address also makes it easier for customers to find and contact your business on a local level.

A virtual mailbox enables a company to have different location addresses across the country, thus spurring market presence and helping the company expand.

Did you know that not all virtual mailboxes are the same?

While it may seem that you have struck gold with a virtual mailbox service that offers locations in multiple locations, you will need to choose an address carefully.

Many virtual mailbox services will use USPS and PO Boxes and forward the mail to their main sorting and scanning facility. This allows the virtual mailbox to offer more addresses even though they may not have a physical presence in that state. Here’s the 4 Reasons to Choose VPM for Your Virtual Mailbox (basically how we differ).

Most importantly, imagine your customers or potential investors are searching online for your business and they see a PO Box. Yikes! That’s why it’s important to ask yourself these questions when selecting a location.

What do you think their impressions would be?

Do you think these locations look professional?

Is this how I want my business to look when customers search on Google Maps?

Privacy Protection with a Business Address

When you register an LLC or corporation the forms require a business address. This business address will be on public and state websites for the world to see. A virtual mailbox that is tied to a commercial office lets you use that as your business address instead of your home address. This will protect your privacy by not exposing your personal home address.

Additionally, this will protect your personal information when you:

Open documents with your suppliers and vendors.

Receive statements, invoices, payments, and bills.

File for legal contracts, licenses, and permits.

Expose contact information on websites and marketing materials.

Document Management Solution

With a virtual mailbox you will be able to store and archive all your important business documents. This gives you a paperless office solution that automates, eliminates junk mail, and lets you skip the hassle and wasted time of opening and sorting your mail manually.

Digitizing all incoming business mail also means:

Effortless record-keeping.

Saving time by scanning documents.

Fully OCR’ed PDF files for easy searching of important documents, and downloadable digital copies in PDF format.

What is PostScan Mail?

PostScan Mail is a virtual mailbox service similar to many local mailbox stores. They offer much of the same mail services that VirtualPostMail does with respect to handling your mail (from receiving, scanning, and forwarding of your mail).

How VirtualPostMail is Different From PostScan Mail
Never Worry About A Change of Address

An advantage of our virtual mailbox service is that all stores are owned and operated by us so you never need to change your mailbox address or be forced to due to partner shutdowns.

COVID-19 Updates

While PostScan Mail centralizes their processing, this can lead to full disruption for processing all mail. In comparison our processing disruption can be localized to individual locations and can even be supplemented by moving processing to another facility if necessary.

We are also the only virtual mailbox service with a fully publicized contingency plan on exactly how we will respond to mail service disruptions below.

Our Response to COVID-19

COVID-19 Shipping Service Disruptions and Delays

Stimulus Checks for COVID-19

Finally, we own our locations so we have full control over how each location is run. We won't be affected by other third party partners.

For example, with PostScan Mail, your address may shutdown, at which point, they'll give you a new address, but then you’ll need to deal with updating all your mail or have to find a completely new service.

Another example is imagine if the new mailbox address is also shutdown as well.  That's a huge disruption, especially if you rely on the address to receive bills and check payments.

With us you’ll never miss important documents and checks especially, for instance your stimulus checks, because your mailbox provider's address is shutdown or you need to change your address.

Deposit Checks to Any U.S. Bank From Anywhere

PostScan Mail does not offer a check deposit service. With VirtualPostMail's Check Deposit Service you can deposit your checks anytime and in any place. It’s that easy. VirtualPostMail supports all U.S. banks that accept mail-in deposits.

NOTE:
In order for the check to be accepted through our check depositing service please be aware that your bank must support mail-in deposit services and the name on the check must match the name of the bank account.

While you are working and traveling it is important to save time, energy, as well as get paid quicker.

Our Check Deposit Service offers the following benefits:

  1. Convenience - Deposit any checks received in your VirtualPostMail account without having to go to the bank.
  2. Easy - Simply setup your existing bank account to begin receiving money.
  3. Fast - Once your check deposit request is processed it is mailed out within 1 business day. You will normally receive the money within one week.
  4. Cost Effective- Pay only for the deposits you make and you can save by depositing multiple checks together.

Real Permanent Street Address

At VirtualPostMail each of our locations is a commercial office with a real street address. We never use PO Boxes. You will have a permanent address that you can use for years to come even if you move and access anywhere. This is useful for frequent travelers and online or home-based businesses who do not have a physical presence.

Another huge advantage at VirtualPostMail is that every single one of our locations is a mail processing center that we own. This means all mail and packages are directly delivered from the courier directly into the hands of one of our experienced and certified staff members. Our highly trained staff knows exactly how to handle your mail with accuracy and in the most effective.

Furthermore, the mail never gets touched or goes through another point of contact during the last leg delivery. There is no middleman like a UPS Store, which increases the risk of mail loss and delayed delivery times.

Other Money-Saving Guarantees

VirtualPostMail is committed to seeing through your request end-to-end. For example, you will never pay extra shipping costs for packages forwarded to the wrong address by mistake. If this was a VirtualPostMail operator error, we will take care of the costs. If it was an error made by the courier (USPS, FedEx, or UPS), then we would gladly assist in filing a claim on your behalf and help get a full refund.

On occasion, you may receive returned mail or packages due to USPS error. In those instances, VirtualPostMail will get back in touch with USPS on your behalf. We will have the situation sorted out free of charge and request USPS to re-ship with no additional cost.

Receive and ship mail and packages without paying extra fees to forward them to a central processing center.
Advanced Mail Scanning Solutions

VirtualPostMail uses advanced commercial high-resolution scanners to deliver scans in PDF with full-text search enabled. That means faster delivery of your scans to meet our promised turnaround time to you, higher quality in scans, and you can search, sort, and manage your physical mail just like email.

  • Our mail scans use OCR technology and combine machine-searchable text with original image.
  • Every mail is converted to a searchable PDF so you can manage and search the contents of your documents easily as email.
  • Mail scans are professionally processed and reviewed for consistent quality.
  • Mail content is always scanned in color at 300 DPI.

Cleaning ventilation systems is essential for their normal functioning. They regularly pass large volumes of air through themselves, due to which dust, dirt and other sediments accumulate on the walls. This reduces the efficiency of its work, and with a low throughput, it completely blocks air circulation. Therefore, regular cleaning of the ventilationairduct cleanersis a must to ensure the proper operation of this system.

Clean ventilation is necessary for the passage of fire safety, and in medical institutions it is completely obligatory, because the health of patients and employees depends on it. Therefore, do not neglect this.

The need to clean ventilation systems

During operation, dust and grease deposits accumulate in the air ducts and equipment of ventilation systems, which makes it difficult to maintain the specified air parameters. Dirty air ducts in ventilation and air conditioning systems create the possibility of fires. Dust and grease deposits accumulated in ventilation equipment and air ducts are easily ignited, and with the movement of air inside the air ducts, the fire quickly spreads throughout the building.

If the ventilation system, in addition to transporting air, is designed to heat, cool and humidify it, then the accumulated dust deposits create a fertile soil for the growth of ticks, bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms that are dangerous to humans. Over time, microorganisms can detach from the surface of the air ducts and be carried by the air stream into the serviced premises. Diseases such as allergies, influenza, and SARS can be transmitted through ventilation from an infected person to a healthy person.

Inspection of ventilation systems

Surveys are carried out using multimeters (flow rate, temperature, humidity, dust concentration by particle fractions), sound level meter and video equipment, in order to determine the state of vertical and horizontal channels, the reasons for ineffective ventilation, as well as to control the quality of cleaning ventilation ducts.

During the examination, a high-sensitivity video camera mounted on a self-propelled minitractor is used. The image is fed to the monitor, which makes it possible to quickly assess the condition of the air ducts, as well as record the examined areas on a videotape.

After cleaning, repeated video diagnostics of the air ducts is carried out, the record is attached to the work protocol. Based on the results of the survey, a report on the research carried out, a survey protocol is drawn up. If necessary, recommendations are given on the creation of air purification systems in the supply and exhaust ventilation systems and for solving technological problems.

Cleaning ventilation systems

After determining the degree of contamination of the vertical and horizontal channels, a work plan is drawn up with a list of equipment used. Cleaning of the air handling unit of the ventilation system, as well as of its individual components, is carried out using compressed air and highly efficient industrial vacuum cleaners.

Air ducts are cleaned mechanically and chemically. The treatment equipment consists of a wide range of installations and tools for solving specific tasks:

  • installation with pneumatic drive and turbine for brush rotation,

  • electromechanical treatment plant,

  • installation for chemical treatment of air ducts,

  • high pressure vacuum and injection unit,

  • filtration unit, etc.

This method of cleaning ventilation ducts is effective and safe. It allows you to clean air ducts without dismantling and does not pollute the premises, due to the use of highly efficient filtering units.

You can do this work with your own hands, but it is important to remember that for this you need to use specialized equipment, without which it will be difficult to get the perfect result. It is also important to know exactly what elements the entire system consists of, as a result of which you will need to take care of cleaning each component.

Most often, fat removal is performed, which is quite simple to carry out, but if you concentrate on this work, then it is recommended to immediately implement other related work in order to get a comprehensive cleaning. It is important not only to get rid of grease and dust, but also from various deposits of bacteria and microbes. If there are any blockages in the air ducts, then they must be promptly eliminated, since in most cases they cause serious problems with the air in the premises. It is best to have unique video equipment at your disposal that will make it easy to diagnose mines and canals.

How is ventilation cleaned from dust and other contaminants? For this, it is important to cleanse the following elements:

  • Cleaning of ventilation shafts and chambers;

  • Work with valves;

  • Removal of deposits inside the impeller of machines for exhaust or air supply;

  • Purification of impurities accumulating in air ducts with both large and small cross-sections;

  • Replacing various filters as needed.

The most significant difficulties usually arise when cleaning the crankcase ventilation, as well as when you have to work with air ducts located in very tall and large buildings, since they are located at a significant height and also have a significant diameter. In this case, the presence of special equipment for this work is considered mandatory. To get the perfect cleaning result, it is important to constantly use various brushing machines and just ordinary hand brushes, which should have different degrees of hardness and dimensions, in the process of work, since then the most optimal option can be selected for a certain contamination. Also, if you have to work in large channels, you need to wear special protective clothing.

The cleansing process itself takes place in several stages:

  • Assessment of the condition of the existing ventilation system;

  • Finding the right equipment and other cleaning agents for the job;

  • Direct cleaning from fatty deposits and other contaminants, and for this a mechanical method or a chemical one can be used, and in the first case, a variety of equipment is used, and in the second, different chemical reagents;

  • Evaluation of the work done, on the basis of which it is possible to decide whether it should be supplemented by other stages or an ideal result has been achieved.

Cleaning from flammable deposits

Contaminated ventilation and air conditioning systems create the potential for fires. Dust and grease deposits accumulated in ventilation equipment and air ducts are easily ignited, and with the movement of air inside the air ducts, the fire quickly spreads throughout the building.

The most dangerous, from the point of view of a fire, are the air ducts of the exhaust systems from the equipment of the kitchens of restaurants, cafes, etc. Often the cause of a fire is the untimely cleaning of kitchen umbrellas and air ducts from accumulated fat deposits.

In many national cuisines there are dishes prepared in a "live" fire. During the preparation of such dishes, the flame can easily spread from the dishes in which the dish is prepared to the grease traps of the kitchen umbrella and move inside the ventilation system to other rooms. Removing grease from the air duct behind the kitchen umbrella is a rather laborious task, therefore the air duct is often left unattended.

Every building that has an exhaust system above the kitchen equipment has a potential fire risk.

What equipment is used in the process of cleaning ventilation systems?

Ventilation cleaning equipment today is extensive and quite popular, so choosing the right one is actually not so easy. However, if you intend to carry out all the work yourself, then you can select the most basic and standard components that will remove dust, grease and blockages in mines and other parts of the system. These include:

  1. The core, with which you can check the channels for deposits or blockages;

  2. A rod, which is highly flexible, and at the same time, it provides easy access to those ventilation areas that are located in a horizontal position, therefore, difficult to access;

  3. A brushing machine, which, if desired and available, can be replaced with different hand brushes;

  4. Channel punch that easily handles blockages, and they can even be created from bricks or construction debris;

  5. A video surveillance system that will allow you to get information about where there are blockages or deposits in the system.

How often should the ventilation system be cleaned?

The frequency of cleaning may vary from system to system. It is best if this complex work is carried out at least once every six months, however, the system is often used very often, and as a result, cleaning will need to be carried out more often. If there is a special industrial enterprise at which impurities in the air constantly appear, which are eliminated with the help of a ventilation system, then cleaning work should be carried out about once or twice a month. Fine filters can easily tell when to replace them, as they will easily show various contaminants and deposits. In this case, you can independently decide when the need for cleaning work arises.

Detergents and disinfectants

Professional cleaning of air ducts from fat and other harmful deposits is performed using specialized chemical reagents:

  • aggressive alkaline compositions for cleaning channels with a foam method;

  • neutral powder remover for soft blasting.

Clarification. Blasting is a procedure similar to sandblasting contaminants. Only instead of sand, finely dispersed chemical powders are used that do not damage the zinc coating of the ventilation duct. The technology is effective, but quite expensive.

Alkaline agents are sprayed inside the ducts beforehand or during the cleaning process. Under the influence of the reagent, fats and soot decompose, the sediment is washed off with water.

The type and concentration of disinfecting antiseptics is selected according to the results of the study of samples (so-called swabs). The latter are taken at the stage of inspection or primary cleaning of air ducts and sent to the laboratory.

Ventilation system cleaning technology

At the first stage, a treatment plan is drawn up. The ventilation scheme is studied, the places of connection of the machines, the points of setting the plugs and the amount of installation work are determined. Note. In the process of servicing the ventilation system, one cannot do without partial disassembly and reassembly of the elements. Example: To connect a pipe from a vacuum pump, you need to remove the inspection hatch or disconnect the molded part of the air duct. If there are no hatches at the desired points, installers cut openings in the channels and install sealed covers.

In addition to the air channels, the following ventilation elements are cleaned:

  • intake and exhaust devices - grilles, diffusers, local suction umbrellas;

  • fire-retardant and check valves, control dampers;

  • heat exchangers for air heaters, recuperators and central air conditioners;

  • parts of fans in contact with the air flow - impellers, turbines;

  • grease filters designed for regeneration (restoration).

The equipment and ventilation network are also cleaned from the outside. Cell, pocket and bag filters are completely replaceable. Upon completion of the work, the organization draws up an act approved by the customer.

The technological operation for dry cleaning of the air duct network looks like this:

  1. The vacuum machine is connected with a hose to the main air line, usually next to the fan. Extended collectors of large diameters are divided into sections of calculated length, comparable to the productivity of the machine.

  2. The second corrugated pipe connects the filter unit to the vacuum fan.

  3. Along the entire length of the serviced area, ventilation grilles are removed, branches of a smaller diameter are disconnected. The holes are tightly closed with plugs.

  4. The operator of the brushing machine, wearing a protective suit and respirator, pulls the flexible shaft with the cleaning tool into the channel on the other side. To remove fat, an alkaline reagent is preliminarily sprayed there.

  5. Both units are started up and the duct is cleaned. Dust and soot removed from the walls with a rotating brush are sucked in by a vacuum unit. The dirty air is fed through a pipe to the filter unit, which traps all particles.

  6. The operation is repeated in subsequent sections in the same way.

Dubai Museum, Al Fahidi Fort

Life in Dubai 50 years ago was radically different. Originally, there was a small pearl mining and trading artel around the Creek Bay. In just 40 years, the city has not only developed rapidly, but has changed beyond recognition. You can find out what Dubai was like during the time of the Bedouins and emirs for free at the Dubai Museum in Al Fahidi Fort.

The National Museum is the main museum in the Emirate of Dubai. It is located in the ancient Al-Fahidi Fort. In different historical periods, it was the residence of the emirs, a fortress, a barracks and a prison.

Since 1970, after restoration, a museum has been housed here. After a serious reconstruction of the fortress due to soil subsidence (1987 - 1995), an underground gallery-exposition was opened. At the gate of the fort, tourists are greeted by old ship cannons. In the courtyard there are fishing boats - dhow and shasha (dug out of palm wood), barrels for fresh water and English cannons. The expositions feature a Bedouin's house, ancient weapons, jewelry, musical instruments.

The main exhibition is located in the underground. Here you can watch a short film about the history of Dubai, see the "Desert at Night" panorama, visit the school at the mosque, learn how rich merchants lived, how artisans worked and Bedouins roamed.

Jumeirah Mosque

The largest  mosque in the city is Jumeirah. There are free guided tours every day at 10:00 (except Friday).

Organizer - Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding.

The duration of the excursion is 75 minutes. Visitors can ask any questions about Islam and the culture of the Emirates. There are several lovely cafes in the immediate vicinity. Think over your appearance: entrance to the territory for women is possible only in a dress, knees and shoulders must be covered.

Free beaches and parks

The coastline in Dubai is 40 kilometers. Of course, most of the beaches are hotel beaches, and the entrance to them costs a lot of money. But there is the beach of the public park Jumeirah Beach Park, the entrance to the territory of which costs only 5 dirhams ($ 1.35). It is just a great place to relax for families with children - there are many shady meadows, sun loungers and umbrellas, shops with soft drinks and ice cream. In addition, the beach is guarded.

There are also municipal beaches, although there is only sea and sand, and they are completely free.

Dubai has a beautiful green oasis -  Alfa Safa Park  with picnic areas. Many Arab families come here for the weekend. The entrance to the park costs 3 dirhams ($ 0.8). On Sundays, there is a spontaneous market where they sell all sorts of things, as well as the Archive cafe of Middle Eastern culture.

The restored district of Bastakia.

Few historical buildings remain in ultra-modern Dubai, and most of them survive in the restored Bastakiya district, bordering Creek. This old lot, consisting of several dozen buildings, was built in the early 20th century by traders from Iran and only thanks to the intervention of the heir to the British crown, Prince Charles, it survived during the mass development of Dubai in the 1980s.

Bastakiya is not like the rest of Dubai: narrow streets are divided by old houses, on the roof of which unique air conditioners of the old times - wind towers - are installed. Today the old district has been completely renovated and serves as one of the main tourist attractions in the city. Here are the famous  hotels and restaurants, art galleries, as well as the oldest building in Dubai - Al-Fahidi Fort, which houses the National Museum.

Attraction address: Historic Bastakiya Area, Dubai.

Dubai Mall

To visit the United Arab Emirates, to come to Dubai and not see one of its particularly beautiful gems - the magnificent  Dubai Mallwould be an unforgivable mistake. Even if you are completely indifferent to the joys of great shopping, it will not ruin your day at this place.

Getting to the mall from neighboring cities and even other emirates is easy - many hotels provide this service (bus travel) for free.

The indoor aquariumbuilt there   is listed in the Guinness Book of Records. It is very unexpected to find such a colossus with 10 million liters of water on the territory of the Dubai Mall. The main thing is that the external facade is available for public viewing for free! Of course, you can get into the inner tunnel for a fee, and this, by the way, is very inexpensive, but if suddenly there is a queue and you are in a hurry, then you can be content with an external free inspection. Believe me, it will not leave you indifferent - the view opens from three tiers of the shopping center. It is a magnificent sight, it is worth seeing.

If you go up to the second floor and go as if behind the aquarium, there are restaurants where you can sit and look at the fish, and you can also go to the glass itself.

Dubai Aqurium  is the largest hanging aquarium in the world !!! The 10 millionth tank of the Dubai Aquarium is located on the ground floor of  The  Dubai Mall. From the outside it looks like something unimaginable and even fantastic. There are more than 33 thousand marine animals in the tank of the aquarium, 400 of which are sharks.

Lovers of sweets must visit  Candylicious. Its visitors are faced with a difficult choice - in a huge store you can taste sweet delicacies from all over the world.

There is another amazing picture - a huge waterfall, in which water falls from a height of four levels of the center (24 m) in a thirty-meter strip. The brilliant figures of the pearl divers are equally beautiful in any light.

A visit to the  Dubai Mall  will add a lot of vivid impressions to the memories of a trip to one of the most attractive oriental countries.

Fountains of dubai

Singing fountains in Dubai are known far beyond the borders of not only the city, but also the country. There are many similar structures in the world, but only Dubai Fountain amazes with its size, beauty and power. It is located on an artificial lake with an area of more than 12 hectares. The length of the structure is 275 m, and the width is 150 m. The height of its jets reaches more than 150 m, which corresponds to the height of a 50-storey building.

The effect is stunning! It is best to watch the show in the evening, when the water jets are also highlighted.

Time of performances: From Saturday to Thursday - 13-00 and 13-30; from 18-00 to 23-00 every 30 minutes;

Friday: 13-30 and 14-00; from 18-00 to 23-00 every 30 minutes.

Museums and art galleries

In addition to relaxing on the beach and shopping in Dubai, you should go to  museums and art galleries.  Artists from all over the Middle East come to Dubai, working in completely different styles. For some of the more unusual art movements, head to Al SerkalAvenue to the  Al Quoz Gallery. It is a true oasis of creativity located in an industrial area. For more classic displays, check out the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) community of galleries. Every month they open their doors free of charge to everyone. Perhaps this is the only place where you can meet local hipsters and creative bohemians.

The total area of Al Ain Paradise is 21 thousand square meters.

Among the attractions of the park are the large flower pyramid, the avenue of flower hearts, a 12-meter copy of the Eiffel Tower and an artificial stream, which has a closed system and passes through the entire territory of the flower park.

At night, the park becomes even more like a fairyland, thanks to the original lighting.

If you decide to visit this flower paradise, it will not be superfluous to inquire about its work in advance: over the past 5 years, the park has been closed for repairs and reconstruction several times.

Al Ain Oasis is a small oasis area located in the heart of the city, covering an area of about 1200 hectares.

In this palm paradise, you can hide from the bustle of the city and the hot sun. Previously, the oasis, which was laid out near the Museum-Palace, was the personal garden of the ruler of the country, this oasis has been cultivated for more than 3000 years and date farms still operate on palm plantations, where you can look at functioning examples of traditional irrigation systems used to supply water from underground sources.

Now the oasis is home to many beautiful ponds, sculptures and fine examples of landscape architecture. In addition to all this, there are museums, hot springs, a zoo, an aquarium, an ice skating rink and the Fun City amusement park on the territory. F ort Al-Jahili

Fort Al-Jahili is the birthplace of the founder of the nation, Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, and one of the most famous historical buildings in Abu Dhabi.

The fort was built in 1891 to protect the city and its beautiful palm groves. Also, at one time, the fort served as the residence of the local ruler, when the building was the headquarters of the Scouts of Treaty Oman. Initially, the building consisted of two buildings, a round tower and a square.

The fort now hosts exhibitions of the work of Sir Wilfred Teziger, a British traveler who traveled through the Rub Al Khali desert in 1940.

The building also houses a tourist information center and an audiovisual installation dedicated to the history of Al Ain.
