With a le s than succe sful Premier League campaign last year for Chelsea will be looking to sharpen up their act and with the players they have recruited the aim for the club should be to mount a serious title challenge.As a Chelsea fan I am hoping that the club can take the momentum from their Champions League and FA. Cup performances last year and turn it into a good strong start to the Premier League so that Roberto Di Matteo can have a platform to build on when they go into the end of October and November and face Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United Liverpool and Manchester City

Tyler Ennis Jersey Petr Cech is obviously going to be Roberto Di Matteos first choice Goalkeeper, but should he get injured Chelsea will be in trouble. Hilario is the 2nd choice keeper and is somewhat unreliable and has that mistake in him to lose the team a game. For me if Cech gets injured Di Matteo should turn to his youth and pick Jamaal Blackman who was tried out in pre-season and look solid backup. Ro s Turnbull is the orthodox 3rd keeper but this man annoys me. He seems content to be the 3rd goalkeeper and he never looks to impre s in matches. Another goalkeeper who deceives a mention is Thibaut Courtois who is sure to have another succe sful season on loan at Atletico Madrid, he is definitely a hot prospect for the future.DEFENCE:
Dave Keon Jersey Branislav Ivanovic, David Luiz, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Ryan Bertrand and Paulo Ferreira should be enough for Chelsea in the defensive department although another right-back is probably needed and Chelsea seem to be close to signing Cesar Azpilicueta of Marseille so that void should be covered soon.MIDFIELD:
Bruce Boudreau Jersey Choosing the midfielders should become a regular selection headache for Di Matteo with Raul Meireles, Michael E sien, Frank Lampard, John Obi Mikel, Oriol Romeu, Josh McEachran, Oscar, Marko Marin, Florent Malouda, Ramires, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata to choose from. I see the club opting for a 4-2-3-1 with the formation allowing the most midfielders po sible.ATTACK: Fernando Torres will have to step up this season and has looked sharp in recent matches with a stretch of form running back to Chelseas Champions League Semi Final against Barcelona in which he has scored 8 goals in 5 starts. Daniel Sturridge has the potential to change matches for Chelsea this season and will have to be ready to step up if Torres is injured or misfiring.ONE TO WATCH:
Garret Sparks Jersey I believe that Marko Marin could turn out to be the signing of the season. Recruited at only 8million I think he could get both his a sist and goal totals into double figures as long as he is given regular football. I can also see him appearing as super sub for the Blues This year.I believe that this year Chelsea can claim three trophies: The Super Cup, Fifa Club World cup and the Fa. Cup or Premier League.
