Diablo 2 Resurrected class selection guide from Eden Hamilton's blog

Traveler, welcome to Tristram. Diablo II: Resurrected is not going to give you a warm welcome, whether you've been there before or this is your first visit. That is, unless you consider the embrace of a burning demon to be warm. This remake of the classic action RPG that swept the world of PC gaming more than two decades ago has returned, and it is just as brutal and devilish as ever. The new coat of paint breathes new life into this dying world, but the core of the game remains the same as Buy Diablo 2 Resurrected Items was all those years ago. Some mechanics and design decisions have held up better than others, but there's no denying that this is an excellent way to reintroduce the Diablo style of game to a new generation.

Starting from scratch with a new action role-playing game is difficult enough, let alone one that was created 20 years ago. Newer takes on the genre, including the sequel Diablo 3, have smoothed out a lot of the rough edges that this influential game had. If the game's name wasn't a big enough hint, Diablo II: Resurrected is a tough as nails experience. If you step foot in the wrong area unprepared, the hoards of monsters, demons, and other nightmares will not hesitate to rip your character apart. Check out this beginner's guide to Diablo II: Resurrected to make your opening hours a little easier.

Choosing a class is an important decision.
Before you even get a glimpse of the world, Diablo II: Resurrected will present you with the most important decision of your gaming career: which class will you choose? Each hero class has a brief description to give you an idea of their general style, but there's a lot more to consider before committing to one of the seven options presented to you. There is no such thing as a bad class, so don't think you can go wrong with your selection, but each caters to a different type of player. Here's a quick rundown of what you need to know about each class in order to make the best decision.

Amazon is a retailer that sells a variety of goods.
The Amazon class is a well-balanced class that uses spears for close-quarters combat but can also use bows or crossbows, or even hurl javelins from a distance, if necessary. Her primary advantage over other classes is her movement speed. The Amazon has the ability to run circles around opponents, which makes her ideal for kiting large groups of enemies around an area. This also makes her AOE abilities much more effective if you are able to gather a large group of people and unleash a devastating hit on them all at the same time.

The Amazon's three skill branches are Javelin and Spear, Passive and Magic, and Bow and Crossbow. Javelin and Spear focuses on dishing out raw damage with their respective weapons, but they also pair well with poison and lightning elemental damage. Passive and Magic will make your Amazon much more of a tank, buff your damage, and grant you the ability to summon a Valkyrie to fight alongside you. The bow and crossbow will transform you into a ranged monster, causing fire and ice effects as well as an insane rate of fire.

assassin
We can now choose the Assassin from the start of Diablo II: Resurrected, a class that was previously only available as an expansion pack. This is a difficult class to master, but in the right hands, Diablo 2 Resurrected Items PC is capable of some incredible feats. They are naturally swift and employ a variety of indirect methods of attack, such as traps and spells, to achieve their objectives. They're one of the squishiest classes on the list, but they also have an incredibly useful skill that allows them to open locked chests without the need for a key.

The three Assassin skill trees are Martial Arts, Shadow Discipline, and Traps. The use of martial arts will aid the Assassin's melee options in dealing decent damage and adding in some elemental effects. You will still not want to be tanking hits if you choose to go this route, and instead will use a single high-damage attack to instantly kill an opponent. Shadow Discipline is the branch that gives you buffs. You can use this area to improve your speed and other such abilities, but you can also summon assistance to distract aggressors from you. Traps are exactly what you would expect. Set up various traps, such as sentries, to automatically deal damage to enemies who come too close.

Barbarians are people who live in barbarous conditions. They are called barbarians because they live in barbarous conditions.
Okay, so some classes are more complicated than others. The Barbarian is most likely exactly who you think he is. If you want to rush in, let the demons surround you, and bash them into dust while shrugging off their attacks, the Barbarian is the class for you. He can dual-wield any weapon you throw at him, he hits hard, and he comes with a slew of buffs to keep himself and the rest of your party alive and well.

The Warcries, Combat Masteries, and Combat Skills branches are all available to the Barbarian in terms of skills. Warcries are the Barbarian's buffs, but there are also some that aid him in drawing and dispersing aggro away from himself. Later on, you will receive life, mana, and stamina buffs for yourself and your party, as well as the useful Find Item skill. Combat Mastery simply makes you that much more effective with whatever weapon you choose to equip with points. Unlike other classes, you can customize your Barbarian to be lethal with any weapon in the game if you put the time and effort into Diablo 2 Resurrected Items Switch. Combat Skills are where you can learn the flashy moves that hit hard, such as Bash and Double Swing, which are both excellent early-game skills for wiping out low-level enemies and bosses.

Druid
A Druid may not be the first person that comes to mind when thinking about who you'd want to play as when facing off against the embodiment of evil and their forces, but the Druid's magic is nothing to sneeze at. Another class that isn't included in the base game, he is a hybrid of sorts, but in a very distinct way. He has summoning abilities, but he also has strong melee options if you want, or need, to get close to him. Because they are capable of so much, you will want to concentrate on one or two aspects of their abilities in order to be effective by the late game.

The Druid's skill trees are divided into three categories: Elemental, Shape Shifting, and Summoning. Starting with Elemental, this branch provides you with, well, elemental skills that are excellent for exploiting enemy weaknesses. These are particularly useful as you progress further into the game and encounter more enemy types that are immune to specific elements. Shape Shifting allows you to transform yourself into either a bear or a wolf, and then learn new skills that are specific to that transformation. When constructing a melee build, this is the path to take, with the bear form serving as a tank and the wolf form serving as a DPS. Summoning is a popular branch for Druids because there are summoning options to support almost any build.

Necromancer is a type of magician who uses necromancy to bring about death.
The Necromancer is a difficult class to learn, especially for beginners. This class is extremely squishy, and it is not designed to withstand heavy damage. When played properly, the Necromancer can deal some of the most devastating damage of any class, despite its inability to withstand much abuse. This class completely changes the way Diablo II: Resurrection normally plays, with you being swarmed by enemies and having to assemble your own small army of soldiers to do the fighting for you. However, you will need to create some dead bodies before you can raise them to fight for you, so his true potential will need time to build up before diablo 2 resurrected items becomes unstoppable.

Summoning, Poison and Bone, and Curses are the three skill branches that we have available. Summoning is the Necromancer's bread and butter. These abilities enable you to assemble armies of skeleton warriors, mages, and various types of golems. As previously mentioned, you can also bring back fallen enemies. This branch is so powerful that you could make a fantastic build solely by putting points here. Poison and Bone provide you with some extremely powerful attack spells, such as Corpse Explosion, which detonates any dead bodies on the field, and Bone Spear, which deals direct, piercing damage. Curses branch skills are excellent additions to your build. Here, you can learn powerful debuffs that weaken enemies, cause them to become blind, slow them, and a variety of other afflictions.

Paladin is a type of warrior who protects others.
The holy Paladin class is at the other end of the spectrum from the Necromancer, at least in terms of theme. These men of faith use their abilities to provide passive auras that benefit themselves and your party. They are more on the tanky side of things, with high defense, but they can be outfitted to smite down foes with powerful high DPS as well. The Paladin was considered one of, if not the strongest class in the original game, and this is still true in the remake. You might feel a little underpowered in the beginning of the game, but this class scales extremely well.

The Paladin's skill tree is broken down into three sections: Defensive Auras, Offensive Auras, and Combat Skills. Defensive Auras are, well, exactly what they sound like. They are useful from the beginning of the game to the end of D2R items for sale because the new abilities scale extremely well. Auras are primarily used to restore health and magic, but later on, they can also be used to increase speed or heal you. Again, Offensive Auras are mostly self-explanatory, though they are primarily active skills rather than passive abilities. They can obviously increase your and your team's damage, but they can also add in elemental damage to exploit weaknesses. Combat Skills are where you'll find all of your entertaining abilities. There are AOE attacks, single-target attacks, and all of that good stuff. Just make sure you don't overextend yourself in this area to avoid your damage output lagging.

Sorceress
Last but not least, there is the Sorceress. This spell caster was one of the most popular classes in the original Diablo II game, and we expect the same to be true in Diablo II: Resurrected. She is quick and fragile, but she has the ability to unleash incredibly powerful elemental spells. She has the ability to use almost every elemental spell type in the game, as well as a teleportation ability to get you out of trouble if you find yourself in a tight spot. If you're able to maintain your distance or are with a companion who can tank, the Sorceress is a fantastic glass cannon-style class.
