"The 100" is an interesting addition from Alexis's blog

It seems that the NBA 2K players I know are either in 2K22 MT career mode, MyTeam (gathering players to form a fantasy league of sorts) or street basketball online. So these three modes will be the focus of this review.

Like in the past street basketball is different from indoor basketball. In part, because you play 3-on-3 which means you have more space as all players in street games are controlled by humans, not by the computer. But also because 2K opts to give street basketball a more arcade-like experience.

The game's matching is fantastic and generally you play against teams that are quite evenly matched. Your player rating isn't the most important factor, but more how smart (or dumb) you play. It's uncomfortable to pair up with a player who does not defend and simply is looking to score three points, but you can't escape that.

Street basketball looks slightly better than last year in general, but most importantly, you have the feeling that you have more control over the actions of your player. In previous editions you could be stuck in an animation that needed to play before you could move on to the next. It's not the case with 2K22.

There are a variety of new game modes have been added to MyTeam. For instance, online, you can play MyTeam Draft, where you first must select one or more players are not in your arsenal. The game is a considerably more exciting than it was prior to.

"The 100" is an interesting addition. You should not have more than 100 total points against in multiple games. Whoever is last (and defends the most) is the winner. MyTeam is doing all it can to NBA MT Coins convince players to purchase player packs or player contracts when you buy the game. There isn't any improvement in the near future.
