Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute was first established in 1972 as the Central Asian Pediatric Institute. Due to the lack of pediatricians in the region and the high infant mortality rate, the main objective of the organization is to train highly qualified physicians and pediatricians. In 1989 the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan renamed the institution Tashkent Pediatric Institute. The company is located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

There are three undergraduate faculties: Faculty of Pediatrics, Pediatrics and Medicine Biology and Medical Education and Medicine. Each teacher is divided into several departments and offers different courses. The Department of Doctoral Studies offers two doctoral programs for students who wish to continue their studies.
